Hickory Shows Unveils New Partnership + Announces Inaugural Wedding Expo

Hickory Shows is stepping into something new – and just in time for engagement season. After years of producing some of the most well-loved events in the region, including the Hickory Christmas Show, Hickory Home and Garden Show, Hickory Women’s Expo, and the CARS Racing Show, they’re adding something fresh to the lineup: the Hickory Wedding Expo.

The show will be happening on January 10th, 2026 at the Hickory Metro Convention Center in Hickory, North Carolina.

This will be Hickory Shows’ first ever event dedicated entirely to weddings, and they’re not doing it alone. Owners Kate Dillon and Jimmy Schiltz have teamed up with local wedding and travel expert Ciarra St. Arnold, owner of Hidden Gems Travel & Excursions, to bring the vision to life. Known for her honest, relationship-first approach and experience on both sides of the aisle (as a bride and as an exhibitor) Ciarra brings a fresh energy and deep industry insight to the table.

Together, this powerhouse team is setting out to create a bridal experience that’s fun, engaging, and truly valuable for both vendors and attendees. Whether you’re newly engaged, a wedding pro, or somewhere in between, the Hickory Wedding Expo is shaping up to be a must-attend event in 2026.
